This website is run by SeeMee Inc. (“we”, “us”).

What this notice covers
This notice covers the website at seemee.lol only. The SeeMee app is not released yet. Before it is, we will publish the app’s own privacy policy on this site, covering the camera, microphone, video and account features. Descriptions of the app on this website are plans and may change before launch.
Waitlist
If you join the waitlist, we store your email address and the time you joined, in Cloudflare storage. We use them to tell you when SeeMee is available. When you join, we also send you one confirmation email, through Resend, which receives your email address and the confirmation message in order to send it. We keep a note that the confirmation was sent (with Resend’s message reference). If sending fails, we may try again if you submit the form again within about 23 hours, and a short-lived marker (it expires after 23 hours) records that a retry is still allowed. To limit abuse of the confirmation email, we keep a one-way scrambled form of your IP address with a counter for up to one hour. Addresses added before the confirmation email existed do not get one. We do not set a fixed deletion date yet; we keep your email address and these notes while we need them for these purposes, and we remove them when you ask.
Contacting us
If you email us, we receive your email address and what you write, and we use them to reply. We keep the messages while we need them to help you, and we remove them when you ask.
Cookies and tracking
The website sets no cookies of its own and has no advertising scripts or third-party advertising trackers. Cloudflare hosts the site and keeps ordinary technical logs, including IP addresses, to run and protect the service. Cloudflare sets how long it keeps them.
Cloudflare also adds its Web Analytics beacon to pages it serves for this site. It is a small script that reports technical and performance measurements (such as page load timings, the page path and the referring page) to Cloudflare, so that the site’s performance and visits can be measured. Cloudflare says the beacon does not use cookies or other browser storage and does not collect personal data, and that it discards the IP address it receives rather than storing it. We do not use it to identify visitors or to show advertising. How Cloudflare handles that data is described in Cloudflare’s own documentation and privacy policy.
